Unable to face the reality of my fate
The social norms don’t follow the laws to date
The beauty of each individual is overlooked
Due to the influence of evil that is took
by society, On the contrary of what is taught
Beauty is based off the white man’s thought
The grotesque image that is portrayed of the colored man
Attempts to justify their inhuman actions toward those they’ve damned
This warped view of what reality is supposed to be
Has based character off religion, creed, and ethnicity
The brotherhood of man has crippled in despair
The sight of war and hatred for one another is hard to bear
This injustice has caused me to lose all hope
But I refuse to cry and mope
Instead I will stand against this prejudice society
For I can no longer be apart of it’s brutality.
